Product Line Overview
Cleaning brushes look simple, but the bristles are the hard part. Silicone bristles are either molded in one piece with the handle (fine cavities in the tool) or inserted afterwards; molded bristles never fall out or break at the root, but they tend to tear on ejection, so durometer, bristle aspect ratio and draft all have to be controlled together. Our range covers baby toothbrushes, tongue cleaner sets, finger brushes, 3-in-1 bottle brushes, brush sets and bath brushes.
Process & Certifications
Molded bristles usually run 40–60 Shore A at 0.8–1.5 mm diameter with an aspect ratio kept under about 4:1; finer than that means inserted bristles or a softer compound. Soft-bristle, firm-handle parts are overmolded, and the two compounds must cure at compatible rates or the interface delaminates. These products are often heat sterilized, so a fuller post-cure keeps odor and extractables under control.
Applications
Infant oral care (0–3 years), bottle and straw cleaning, bathing and body care. Brushes often ship as kits (toothbrush, tongue cleaner, finger brush), where the kit format drives retail conversion — cavities and packaging can be settled at the tooling stage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do molded silicone bristles fall out?+
Molded bristles are continuous with the handle, so they do not break at the root or shed — the main reason baby toothbrushes favour the process. The trade-off is a minimum bristle diameter, with aspect ratio normally kept under about 4:1; finer bristles mean inserted tufts plus pull-out testing.
Are they safe for boiling or steam sterilization?+
Silicone handles -40 to 200 °C, so boiling and steam are fine. Where a two-shot part includes a PP handle, remember PP has a lower limit and boiling time should be controlled. A full post-cure also keeps odour and extractables lower.
What is your MOQ and sampling lead time?+
From 50 pcs, small-batch trials supported. Free 1-3 samples (customer pays shipping); sampling 5-7 working days; mass production 15-25 days.
